Part training, part community and part service, Wealthy Affiliates is the world’s #1 free resource for anybody looking to enter the rewarding (and sometimes very difficult) world of digital or affiliate marketing.
A huge amount of content is available across the Wealthy Affiliate network at no charge, from a thriving and helpful community complete with forums and social-network type function to a library of training content to help everybody get the most out of the opportunities presented. There are also paid elements to the WA product and a number off add-on helpful services such as web design and hosting, but none of these are essential to those on a budget.

The training is very basic and outdated, the live chat is just the blind leading the blind. The community is friendly, but everybody is in the same boat thinking “wealthy affiliate is the #1 program of all time” despite never having made $1.00 online themselves

Good community helpful people but like everything there are people who will message you just to try sell you on something and it gets wearing. You need to be a paid member to get the most benefit but I know several guys who’ve gone on to make a career in digital marketing who got their start with the free option.

still one of the biggest internet marketing communities and thanks to some good moderation you don’t get any of the scammers trying to fleece newbies like you get elsewhere. If you want to make money online and are at a complete standing start Wealthy Affiliate couldn’t be a better go-to even if only for 3-6 months until you find you feet and a direction you want to go.

Worthwhile to join and read old posts and access the site tools but a lot of the current members seem to be in the same boat, new and clueless so many of the discussions are a case of blind leading the blind. If you’re totally new to online marketing then 100% it has merit, but if you already know a thing or two I’m not sure how much value you’ll get from it.

WA provides some excellent content for free but there are lots of nag messages to sign up to premium.

worth it even for the access to like-minded friends in the WA community. as fighter pilot mentioned this accountability and the usefulness of keeping an online diary read by your peers cant be underestimated
Martin –
valuable free information and well worth the money to upgrade
Fighter Pilot –

Lot of emails with updates unless you change your preferences. I didn’t know how to do this at first and would get 10 or more emails a day when random strangers wanted to be my friend or published something on their blogs. Once I’d sorted this out is was a more manageable one a day. I’d signed up for free and wanted to promote the service as an affiliate and it wasn’t until I’d been doing so for a while when I realised to actually get paid I’d have to be a paid up member and I didn’t like this as it wasn’t immediately clear. Even so the free membership does have benefits and if you’re not good at web design or other technical their paid services include a web site builder and hosting etc.

WA is a much better value option than any 4 or 5 figure “mastermind” course out there and the feelings of community and the friendships I’ve struck up make up for the sometimes loneliness of being sat working at my computer.
