About Experian
Experian are one of the world’s leading credit reporting and monitoring companies but do a lot more than this – including score-boosting, identity theft monitoring and fraud resolution.
Like other market giant Equifax, Experian uses a 3-bureau scoring system when calculating credit scores and offers a free credit report for all new users. Other value-added services Experian offer over their rivals are their credit score “boost” where they allow credit for utility bills in the score calculation – and they can scan the dark web to see if your data is being bought and sold – a major safeguard against identity theft and subsequent claims for losses.
From the Experian website:
A good Credit Score is essential to your financial health. Get your FICO® Score* for free and see how you might look to a lender.
With an interactive FICO® Score tracker, you can visualize your progress over time and receive customized alerts when your score or rating change.
Abba –
It’s expensive if you expect free and you realize you’re signed into a paid service but if you’re actually wanting to monitor your score it’s the same price and the same service level as anyone else.
