Zacks Trade is an online brokerage company providing two free trading platforms, access to a wide range of trading instruments and low cost trades – all with an option for free broker-assistance for those looking for extra help.
Suitable for trading stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutuals and options, Zacks has an account minimum of $2500. Low fees and commissions, powerful easy to use trading platforms (one is pared-down to be even simpler) coupled with a free hand-holding service make Zacks Trade an excellent option for new and intermediate traders although the competitive pricing makes it an equally strong contender for pros.

I don’t know what’s happened recently but since December customer service has taken forever to respond to questions. This is a good service but I’m not happy with how things are looking and I’m not alone if other review sites are anything to go by.

Can’t imagine life without Zacks Trade, it does everything I could want from it and Oh My God it has so much functionality built in it blows any other platform out of the field. If you’re a half-decent day trader who likes detail and function and fine-tuning this is the one, recommended me by literally everyone I know it’s the finest piece of specialist kit out there that isn’t locked away in a trading house. Speed? check. Low cost? check. Customization? Youbetcha. Technical indicators? 120. Decent margin rates? under 5% on some heavy numbers. Live assistance? If you need it – it’s there.
All-in-all Zacks Trade takes some beating and if you’re an experienced day-trader it’s where you’ll be at unless you like operating with one hand behind your back. And your eyes closed.
